prime trees for 1 up to 160

I love the gentle shaking! 🌳

Thanks! I just added some random noise to the angles!

I was actually wondering if that was intentional, or a by-product of using a force-directed graph!

Reminds me of:

Here's another similar thing:

This is awesome. Any reason why you went from lowest factor to highest factor? I actually think it might look nicer the other way around

no reason, just an arbitrary choice! Here is 60 for both ways:

and here is 210

Thanks for sharing these!

Math Garden:

This is visually satisfying. Thanks for posting

I feel like doing the bigger factors before smaller factors (so 10 has 5 branches of 2, for example) would make the even trees more visually impressive.

I would absolutely love you to make a base 6 (modulus) diagram animation showing new primes popping up in the 6n±1 location as the factors go around the circle. I've drawn this by hand, but I never found a program that would do it for me easily, and don't have the brain to code.

😍😍😍

👍that's awesome!

@idespi

Beautiful. May I ask in which language did you write the code?

I don't understand why primes are broken down into 1s. Shouldn't prime numbers be the leaves?

That’s a nice wiggle

Like those!

this is awesome

Is this you coming up with these? Amazing

I knew what this represented as soon as I saw it, and hadn't read the caption yet. 😅

In #Code37 #Bit=1147 #Ilia=1147 +#Papantonatos=6771 #Quantenrealitaet= 6771 (Quantumreality) #Primenumberenigma=6771 #Enigma=1813=1147+666 Enigma is an #Anagram of #Imagine Imagine/Enigma I #Imagination #Einstein=9657=Ilia Birthday additive+ >9.6.1957=37

this is such a fun thing to code 😝

Looks very interesting, btw did you see some patterns?
