PRIME Pogba v Jude Bellingham… Who you picking? Technically I think Pogba had more to his game, the level of finesse was unmatched - one of THE most audacious central midfielders I’ve ever watched. Bellingham in attacking zones is simply more impactful and has a better nous for the...

Different profiles imo, pogba wanted to be in the game more , Bellingham plays more like a 10, pogba passing range and press resistant supercedes Bellingham's own, but Bellingham is a killer inside the box

Agreed - so bearing in mind their different profiles, who will long term be remembered as better in their role if you had to project and predict

Pogba played with Fred and McTom(utd version) Jude played with Modric and Kroos and got his best season. Pogba can do everything Jude does, Jude can not do everything Pogba does. It is simple maths

I think Pogba really suffered from his career choices. The decision to move from Juventus who were a superior team to Manchester United curtailed his potential. Jude’s path has been more carefully managed by his family and he will ultimately be remembered as the greater player.

Pogba not even close, Pogba with Jude platforming/motor is an annual ballon d'or podium if not better Jude couldn't do this for a title competing squad 2018 Pogba is the all rounder people think Jude is and is the far more complete and bigger athlete

Moot point for now, not even certain we've seen prime Bellingham yet. Hopefully he doesn't make Pogba's mistake and attempts to join an EPL club anytime soon.

I hear people say technically Pogba was/is better than Jude? My question is what constitutes technical ability? Because from where I'm sitting, I would consider Jude to have plenty of technical ability

I disagree on goal threat. Jude only high scoring season was when he was played false 9. Pogba also is blessed physically but what he has over Jude is superior shooting that includes from distance. Pogba also can box crash, he can score headers, even free kicks. Variety is Pogba.

I’m sorry but we can’t judge Pogba on his Man Utd stint. Man Utd are A MESS!!! Pogba is a fool for rejoining Man Utd

🚨José Mourinho on who he believes deserves the Ballon d’Or after everything Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé and Harry Kane have achieved for club and country: 🎙️ Reporter: “José, after everything Bellingham, Mbappé and Kane have achieved, who do you believe deserves the Ballon d’Or?” 🗣️ José Mourinho: “The Ballon d’Or is the biggest individual award in football. When you talk about winning it, you have to look at everything performances, trophies, goals, influence and what the player has done on the biggest stages. Jude took England to third place at the World Cup. Harry Kane captained England and has been fantastic, but Jude was the one who produced the performances that made people talk. Then you look at Kylian Mbappé. He won the World Cup Golden Boot, finished as the highest scorer in La Liga, is currently the leading scorer this season and has already scored a hat-trick recently. [laughs] The numbers are ridiculous. So if you ask me who should win the Ballon d’Or today, I tell you Kylian Mbappé. And this is why because when I look at the complete picture, I see a player who is not only producing incredible numbers but doing it consistently at the highest level. He decides matches, he carries responsibility and when the biggest moments arrive, he wants the ball. Bellingham has a very strong case. Kane has a strong case. But today? For me, it’s Kylian. If the award is about the best player, not simply the most popular player, Mbappé is my choice.”

🚨Gary Neville on Jude Bellingham’s match-winning performance against France. 🎙️ Reporter: “Gary, Jude Bellingham came off the bench and scored the winning goal. What did you make of his performance?” 🗣️ Gary Neville: “He’s a player you simply cannot take your eyes off. Every time he steps onto a football pitch, something happens. “I’ll be honest, I’m still disappointed Manchester United missed the chance to sign him when they had the opportunity. Players like Jude don’t come around very often. “He came on around the 70th minute, took the game by the scruff of the neck and scored the winning goal. That’s what world-class players do—they change matches. “What amazes me is that he’s a midfielder. How do you explain it? He arrives in the box like a top-class striker, finishes with the composure of a centre-forward and still gives you everything defensively. “He doesn’t wait for the game to come to him—he goes and takes control of it. That’s a rare mentality. “When England needed someone to calm things down and deliver a decisive moment, Jude was the one who stood up. That’s leadership, and you can’t teach it. “He’s got everything. The physicality, the technique, the intelligence, the timing of his runs and the personality to perform under pressure. He plays with the confidence of someone who’s been doing this for 15 years. “For me, he’s one of the most complete midfielders in world football. Players like him don’t just win matches—they define generations. England are incredibly fortunate to have him.”

IU Indy’s Gus Etchison has the potential to be one of the best Mid Major players in college basketball heading into this season. Gus for Idaho State last season averaged 9/1/2 in only 13 MPG while shooting 45% from the field and 35% from three on 3 attempts a game. Etchison is one of the quickest guards in the country who’s great at getting to his spots on all 3 levels and scoring with efficiency. Etchison had one of the highest rim rates in the country and was also a high level finisher who shot 62% at the rim. Etchison is also a strong off the dribble creator who has the ability to create space at a high level, and is an elite tough shot maker who can shoot from anywhere on the court. Etchison is also a high level playmaker who has the ability to use his speed and scoring to create plays for his teammates at an elite level, while also having the vision to make strong reads in the PNR or in isolation. Gus had one of the highest assist rates in the country with a 40% AST rate. Etchison’s mix of playmaking, shooting, creation, speed, PNR play, shotmaking, finishing, and handle all helps him be an extremely versatile all around PG who can do a little bit of everything at a strong level. Etchison is one of 3 players since 2008 who had an AST% of 40, and shot 35% from three on 12 attempts a game per 100, joining Trae Young, and Denzel Valentine as the only other players. Etchison was highly productive in a system that didn’t fully fit his game, and is joining, an IU Indy team that fits his style and gives him the chance to be one of the most talented Mid Major players in college basketball next season.
