I remember when I was about 22 or 23, and I was at one of the lowest points in my life for various reasons… I felt the need to go to church and wanted to find “peace” in my heart. I felt lost… I felt like I needed God in my life. I didn’t know what that even meant, I just felt it. I ended up at a church with a pastor very similar to this man.. and I wasn’t even a spiritual person back then, but everything inside of me was screaming to get out. Looking back now, without knowing it.. I felt demonic forces at play. God was telling me to get out. Eventually I found my way, and that was only because of my journey — I sat down one night and just started talking to God… not even understanding that I was praying.. From that point on, my life changed so much and I began to see things differently, God revealed things to me, and taught me how to find clarity in all situations,.. I found peace. There is no peace that can be found at Churches like this and with Pastors like this… true peace comes when you just start opening your mouth to speak God’s name and begin talking to him. You don’t need a church to find God.

We grew up hearing the same rules over and over: “Don’t talk to strangers, don’t ever get in a car with one, and definitely don’t take candy or anything else from them.” But now? We open an app, message a total stranger, climb into their car, and sometimes even take a bottle of water or a mint they offer us. Sure, we double-check the license plate, say their name out loud, and they say ours back… but let’s be real, it still feels a little weird, right? We’re basically doing all the “never do this” stuff our parents drilled into us. I use Uber a lot traveling, but I don’t crawl in until the driver says my name. My app is set up with a personal contact that is notified as soon as the Uber driver puts my pin into his phone, then it notifies my PC that I am route to my destination. My PC can track my movement and is also notified immediately if the driver veers of the route. Once at my destination my PC is automatically sent my arrival time. Do you uber?

💭 I had a fight with my mom - how can I make up with her? 🐿 Well, that depends on the reason, but although it’s not often, when that happens to me sometimes, honestly, just like any son, I tend to get irritated and snap a lot too. And since it’s a time when parents are curious about many things, and since it’s been a long time since we’ve lived apart, they can’t help but be curious even about very small things. 🐿️ To be honest, I didn’t understand that before, but these days I try to understand it. I think I’ve had quite a few conflicts with my parents because of things like that - not anything big, but issues from my side. Since I live my own life, I used to think, “Why are they curious about things like this?” or “Isn’t this obvious?” But from my parents’ perspective, they haven’t lived my life, so they worry and get curious - it’s all the same, even if it seems trivial. 🐿️ For example, I go to the recording studio, or I go to the workspace. Actually, a long time ago I explained this once, but to me, a recording studio and a workspace are different - they’re completely different. But from my parents’ perspective, if they don’t know, recording studio and workspace sound like the same thing. So if I say I’m going to the recording studio, they ask, “Are all the members going together?” And if I say I’m going to the workspace, they ask, “Are all the members going together?” and say things like, “Why are all the members going to the workspace?” Even though it’s different. There are many things like that. 🐿️ So I think that’s why this kind of thing happens. It still happens sometimes now. Since I live my own life, I used to think, “Why are they curious about things like this?” or “Isn’t this obvious?” But from my parents’ perspective, they haven’t lived my life, so they worry and get curious - it’s all the same, even if it seems trivial. 🐿️ For example, I go to the recording studio, or I go to the workspace. Actually, a long time ago I explained this once, but to me, a recording studio and a workspace are different - they’re completely different. But from my parents’ perspective, if they don’t know, recording studio and workspace sound like the same thing. So if I say I’m going to the recording studio, they ask, “Are all the members going together?” And if I say I’m going to the workspace, they ask, “Are all the members going together?” and say things like, “Why are all the members going to the workspace?” Even though it’s different. There are many things like that. 🐿️ So I think that’s why this kind of thing happens. It still happens sometimes now. 🐥 it was my first time going to receive an award alone, so i was really nervous. i was nervous on the red carpet, nervous when i received the award earlier, and nervous when I gave my acceptance speech. it was triple the nerves 🥲 🐥 seriously, thanks to DIVE, i can actually win an award on my own like this. i wish someone had told me this back when i was a trainee. it's such a happy feeling. if i were to give an acceptance speech here, as the name of this award suggests... 🐥 but honestly, DIVE just let me freely express the things i love, right? DIVE gave me the chance to act like this, and now i'm even receiving an award for it. i'm so incredibly grateful. i want to thank DIVE once again. DIVE gave me confidence. your existence that made that possible. 🐥 it's truly all thanks to DIVE! REI... i received the award under my name, REI, it's so amazing! 🐥 i have to show grandpa soon! grandpa... my family is coming to the concert too, so i really want to show them quickly. 🐥 it's really all thanks to DIVE. i can't think of anything else to say except that it's all thanks to DIVE. every time i make a tiktok, you guys always like it, and DIVE is the one who always lets me be myself.

TWITTER APPRECIATION POST. Flashback to 11th of January, this year (2024), after a long night of tears and uncertainty, I made a post of X (Twiter), stating the growth and strides I have achieved so far in my business, where I’d like to be this year, and how I have reached a plateau. I have just used all my entire life savings to rent a whole floor of a building in the heart of Lagos (Ago Palace Way, Okota) and do not have a penny to continue but I needed about 70Million naira atleast to set up the place. I had approached a lot of banks and individuals that I know could afford but to no avail, this, as a result led me to my last resort, “making a post on (X) twitter” on the 11th, and I’d say is my biggest breakthrough since I was born. I made the post around 7am that day, which I had composed overnight while crying heavily. The post quickly gained traction and went viral with the help of ALL OF YOU, it was as if I was dreaming! It was just like a dream, a lot of people came into my DM to ask for my account details and I was seeing cash gifts of hundreds of thousands of naira!!! As if that was not enough, someone I have been admiring and made my role model from afar reached out to me and offered me a NON-INTEREST LOAN OF MILLIONS OF NAIRA! I will keep them anonymous for now, we reached agreements that I should be paying monthly with two month moratorium and to the glory of God, I have never defaulted till this day, which I pray to never ever happen. This was yet, my biggest breakthrough since I was born, and this would not have happened without you reading this post now. It is on this note that I want to personally appreciate you sir/ma for believing in my dream. May I also use this opportunity to reassure you sir/ma that going forward, I will never let you down and I promise to always give back to the society. Thank you for 2024. Sincerely. AKEULA TRENDY
