Prince. Purple Rain

So much fun writing about this appearance from the American Music Awards. Magnificent. In a few hours @prince will skip the “We Are the World” session and his bodyguards will assault photographers. He’ll be an industry pariah. But return stronger.

💜💜💜

Nobody did it better. Legend.

I was in high school, up until this performance and I was constantly teased for being a Prince fanatic. That next week at school I was questioned about his music and style over n over. Made many new friends cause of my record collection. This is version is so hard to beat.

Phenomenal.

HONEY I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!!! 🎸
