Princess Mononoke (1997)

This was my first real experience with anime. ~2005, 3am, sitting on the floor flipping through channels while my mom was snoring on the couch. I stopped for a second because I saw that it was animated. 15 seconds in that guy's arms came off and I was hooked for life.

the only princess i respect. ghibli understood the assignment - nature's revenge hits different when u add demon curses and wolf gods 🗡️
