Probably the most interesting part of the conversation between John Berger and Susan Sontag because its topic is dreams, which, as we know, Sontag has always had a lot to say about [1983]

She believes only in the socialization of the dream, its telling (neutralization by language). But what’s interesting is How She Talks, always so sure of herself, and tastily coquette.

So for her the dream only exists as it in itself. At the moment that you think about it, it turns into the thought of the dream, so dream is no more. Bem heideggeriana.

I wonder if she’s ever had a lucid dream or ever felt the dread of fated “coincidence”. An experience where meaning is understood through feeling IN the moment and not upon later reflection.

We may have differences but we argue in a friendly and respectful manner, unfortunately that is being lost.

Sontag very Cartesian.

My dreams are action movies.... I often fight Xenomorphs.... no chairs, no aunts in them.

Cant Dreams be like art ..? There are high math golden ratio Types And there are just pleasing or vibing grooving types There are weird shit and mesh of chaos and there are psy ops Then the cryptic genius mad art theN Enlightening & God is here types And sometimes all in one
