The US is engaged in economic warfare out of control, completely irresponsible, often gamed by wealthy campaign contributors or Trump's own family. What's happening in Iran is the deliberate collapse of the currency, the deliberate, creation of mass poverty, unemployment, and unrest in Iran for the purpose of attempting a regime change. And, maybe it's true that not one, in a million New York Times reporters can understand it, or mainstream, media reporters, but now at least they have Mr. Bessent, to listen to, and maybe they should reflect on that to try to understand their job better of reporting what's really happening.
