Serious question what more do y’all want from Drake? The crazy thing is Drake was fine singing his melodies, making songs for woman, leaving us in our feelings. It was the “culture/media” who said, he was too soft, he can’t rap, remember “Drake n Drive”. Wow Eric Dyson got this so wrong, “it’s not colorism at all.” It’s taken a culture that you have never been apart of never was raised in appropriating that culture for monetary gain without giving back to that culture Obama always was Obama he never pretended to be anything but himself. Drake has many black characters that he plays and none of them are authentically Aubrey Graham. Kendrick is saying it’s ok to be yourself you don’t have to pretend to be someone else. You never grew up saying the N word and you started saying it with your music what your doing is cringe worthy because that is not who you are.
