Tesla Robotaxi Unsupervised gets into a hotel parking lot that blocked off by an Amazon delivery vehicle, another vehicle, and a large Sysco delivery truck. It took Robotaxi a few seconds to figure out what it was going to do and then it went to the side of the hotel to drop me off, and then went behind the hotel to get back out and on to it's next pickup. Pretty impressive!

One reason I wish I could train Sora locally is because about 25% of generations glitch up pretty hard and turn into what I call "Nightmare World." I'll use the same prompt over and over and get like 5 Nightmare World generations in a row. Then suddenly I'll get a perfect generation. I still can't figure out why this happens or how to fix it. A simple thumbs up/thumbs down button would help weed out Nightmare World (or explore it, if you want). I've tried negative prompts, simplifying prompts, refreshing, and all kinds of stuff but I can't figure out how to eliminate this glitch. One theory I have is this is the AI equivalent of "sketching" - After several abysmal generations I'll suddenly, without altering the prompt, get one that's better than ever before. Like the animation upgrades suddenly. So then I'll just keep running it and running it and get a really good streak of beautiful animation. And then out of nowhere it will switch back to Nightmare World again. It's a very interesting phenomenon that really should be looked into!

Bash is all you need! Which is why I'm introducing my holiday project: just-bash just-bash is a pretty complete implementation of bash in TypeScript designed to be used as a bash tool by AI agents. Because it turns out agents love exploring data via shell scripts, even beyond coding. It comes with grep, sed, awk and the 99th percentile features that an agent like Claude Code or Cursor would use. In fact, Claude Code can use it for secure bash execution. In the package - A bash-tool for AI SDK - A binary for use by yourself or your coding agents - An overlay filesystem to feed files to your agent securely - A Vercel Sandbox compatible API, so you can quickly upgrade to a real VM if you need to run binaries - An example AI agent that explores the just-bash code base using just-bash - I imported the Oils shell bash compatibility suite and just-bash passes a very good chunk What is interesting about this codebase: It was essentially entirely written by Opus 4.5. Coding agents love bash and they are good at reproducing it. They are also great at text-book recursive descent parsers and AST tweet-walk interpreters. That said, it is, like, a lot of code and I didn't read it all 😅. This is very much a hack, but it also seems to be _really_ useful. I haven't really found anything agents want to use that it doesn't support and it's fast and secure (caveats apply). It doesn't have write access to your computer and the filesystem is given a root that the agent cannot escape from. The agent was given read-only access to their codebase and database along with connected tools like Intercom, Stripe, CRM, and Fathom through CLIs. They routed Slack, email, and support requests into a task queue so the agent could pick up each task and run it in Claude Code. So when a customer asked about billing or product behavior, it could inspect how the business actually worked. Along with these tools, a coding agent was also provided. When the ops agent found a repeated task it could not do yet, the coding agent built a tool for it. That tool became permanent. Over time, this grew to 45+ internal tools. The agent also had an instruction.md where it stored the co-founder's feedback to avoid repeating its mistakes.

Yes here is my 10 minute breathless rant about why I'm so excited about Notion Workers + Custom Agents... Context: I spent this afternoon building a custom agent to help me manage Shiori (a side project I shipped last weekend). I gave the custom agent everything it needs to understand what's happening in my product (email, log drain, sentry alerts, stripe payments, etc) and to do work on my behalf (access to coding agents). In an afternoon of tinkering, this agent can: - Diagnose bug reports proactively by looking through past email conversations, system logs, and database records - Draft replies to user questions with the correct answer based on past email threads, or help me proactively reach out to churning paid users - Self-construct a database of feature requests with an understanding of who is requesting the feature and how they're using the product today - Answer any question I have about how people use the app and what I should be thinking about next - Initiate Claude Code workflows to open PRs proactively in the background when someone sends a bug report or feature request This custom agent is now my "Side Project Chief of Staff" (I don't really know what a chief of staff does but this sounds right). I didn't write a single line of the worker code because I didn't need to: models are so good that I can link to the Workers readme, yap my desired outcome into a microphone, and I get a super-personal and highly-capable AI agent out the other side. So fucking cool. The future is now! I'm excited to see what everyone makes.

here's an awesome coding workflow i found: i was tired of giving claude/codex the right places to look in the docs and also tired of waiting for it to explore through shit ton of files to give me an answer.... consuming tons of tokens and time i ALSO dont want to have shit ton of unnecessary files. so, i use webpull with SMFS - i just pull an entire website into a 'docs' folder, and then let the agent figure things out. 90% of the times, it WILL one shot find the answer. and then i can unmount it/ bring it to my other projects with just one command BTW smfs will work with skills, docs, anything. wherever there's filesystem search, mount smfs, and watch your agent get much better 🔥

so much of work is what I like to call the “work around work” - switching between systems, chasing context, and stitching tools together to get things done company knowledge in chatgpt now does this for you it can reason across tools like slack, sharepoint, google drive, github, and more to get answers, do analysis, and take action using a version of gpt-5 that’s optimized for working with tools & providing citations company knowledge has changed how i use chatgpt at work more than anything we have built so far - let us know what you think!
