CNN’s Dana Bash continues to surprise everyone. She just forced Gavin Newsom to admit a hard truth about his privileged upbringing — something he was clearly hoping to gloss over as he tried to whitewash his past for 2028. You can see the pain on his face the moment he realized Bash wasn’t throwing him a softball. NEWSOM: “We had about 1000 employees at peak. I’m not saying that to impress you, but to impress upon you how entrepreneurialism has defined my life. There were doctors that were having no deaths from COVID and treating in some cases thousands of patients. And we weren't listening to them. Instead, we were doing the opposite. We were shutting them down. And then, Dana, the other thing that I would say is that we need to protect our constitutional rights. That is the primary obligation of our country. Postman is going all-in on AI! Their AI Agent Builder is live (and it's pretty powerful!) Postman's API Network has 100,000+ APIs and they just released a suite of tools for building AI Agents that can automatically discover and connect to any of these APIs. Think about it for a second: You can now build an AI agent that searches the network, discovers an API, processes its documentation, connects to it, and evaluates whether everything worked at the end of the process. This is a huge deal. Every person I know uses the Postman client to work with APIs. I have built a Windows x64 sampling profiler for native code+C# to be used by coding agents. Why? Because it is irresponsible to let computers write code but give them no tools to evaluate the performance of their code. Stop guessing, start measuring. -> How does it work? Just point your agent to the profiler and let them measure and optimize. Or record a trace yourself and let the agent interpret the results for you. Works with Claude Code, Codex, pi, etc. The profiler also has a couple of neat features by itself like giving you estimates for how much time your code is spending on memory stalls and annotating disassembly with inlining information. Dana Bash just put Maryland Governor Wes Moore on the SPOT for pushing a redistricting plan that would wipe out the ONLY Republican-held congressional seat in the state. When Moore said he’s urging the Maryland Senate to move forward on redistricting, Bash asked the question he clearly wasn’t expecting: “How is it good for democracy to pursue a map that makes your state even less representative?” Moore tried to dress it up as a pro-democracy move — but Bash wasn’t having it. MOORE: “It is important that states like Maryland that have the ability to look at their maps, that we have a chance to do it.” “And it is why I’m urging the Maryland Senate to to let democracy not die in the free state and allow a vote to happen on the Maryland Senate.” That’s when Bash cut straight to the point.
