There seems to be a lot of Mexicans these days who will claim they are "Native American", which is only true if they wish to claim that they may be (partially) native to the American continent, but they have no proof that their ancestors ever came north of the Rio Grande. They also seem to resent the Anglo Saxons north of the Rio much more than they do the Spanish who were the real conquerors to their land.
