Proof that the earth does not spin!! 😮💀

Throwing a ball up and down in a moving car is proof the car isn't moving.

This happens because the helicopter is within the atmosphere, and the atmosphere is moving horizontally with the Earth's rotation. Factor inertia, lack of external forces, the Coriolis effect, and angular velocity, and perhaps old boy will have a better go next time.

So this guy thinks if he jumps inside a train, he will land in the back of it.

The atmosphere, including the air in which your helicopter is hovering, rotates with the Earth. It's called entrainment of the atmosphere by the Earth's rotation.
