But my stand is not about taking sides it’s about what the law says, especially on forceful recording and sharing content without consent. Just think a few years ago, someone shot a DJ just for telling him, “Stop touching my girlfriend’s buttocks,” leaving the DJ crippled, yet no one attacked him online the same way I’m being attacked not because I committed a mistake, but simply for responding to a complaint and standing for what is right. Yet today, my only “mistake” is standing with someone I don’t know, who was forcefully recorded and cyber-bullied, and calling out what was illegal.
