One example is a young TikToker known as Boss Figgs, who has obtained dual citizenship and travels across Haiti showcasing its development and culture. In this segment, he highlights neighborhoods in Fort Liberte, in northeastern Haiti where new homes and infrastructure are being built with earthquake resilience in mind. The houses are not only designed for safety, but they are also genuinely beautiful.

For people on low incomes or on benefits, finding money to pay for Christmas presents and festive food is extremely difficult. We first reported on the Inham Nook estate in the Nottinghamshire suburb of Chilwell back in the summer. In some parts of the estate, 2 in 5 children live in poverty, and a community-led food bank system had been set up to help families deal with the increased cost of living. But those who were helping are now struggling themselves.
