Ten stolen transformers were recovered during a targeted operation in Kyasands, where an illegal electricity distribution network was uncovered. The network was using stolen infrastructure to supply electricity and unlawfully charge residents for the service. Our focus today was in Pretoria West where removed several illegal cables. Last week, we found tampering on accounts worth over R40 million. The removal of illegal connections isn’t enough without holding accountable perpetrators of illegal connections. City of Tshwane
