I was always pretrib but I do lean more towards the midpoint now. I don’t quite agree with the timeline in your post but I’m not far off. One thing I do believe is it’s not something to argue with a brother over and the topic tends to cause quite a bit off division.

I’ve recently had it on my heart to study this. I’ve come to the conclusion that a pre-trib rapture is a great deception of the modern western church. I was pre trib all my life until 5 or 6 months ago.

I think the verses Luke 17:36 and Matthew 24:40 are in reference to Revelation 20:15. We don’t get taken to heaven. Evil is removed and heaven is brought to us. That’s what I understood from the scripture.

The church is protected from the tribulation by being removed. The world will relentlessly push and argue that there is no rapture because when it happens, Satan will cover it up with the alien narrative. And if no one believes there is a rapture, more are deceived by the cover up. Our bridegroom does not send His precious bride to endure His wrath and to die at the hands of satan before our wedding. The 7 year tribulation is for Israel and for a rebellious unrepentant world.
