I don't know why they banned Breeze, props to them. Knowing that they banned Breeze and our second-best map is probably Pearl, I think they would've prepped a lot for Pearl. So I didn't want to go into a heavily prepped map. That's why we pivoted to Fracture. Still, it was a better map for them regardless. If I could go back in time, I'd pick Pearl. Unlucky. 🐶: for the past year and 2 months on this dominate tour, personally, and as a group as well, there have been many circumstances after the shows, we got to laugh with grateful hearts, and also sad events we've been through. but still, we were able to visit so many countries and people in a good state. we're finally here, at this spot, our finale here in incheon. we don't do things halfway-oh wow, my mind went blank. i have so many things to say right now. each and every stage is truly precious for us. i think we get to keep showing our sincerity to our stay. i'm really sad but after that sadness, i know that a new excitement awaits, but it's still too bad that it's ending. 🐶: and the speed that things develop is really fast these days. there's so much to think about, and several other things... what i think is, in this moment we stand on stage, we're still giving it our all. i really hope all those people staying with us are as sincere as we are. 🐶: from now on, we'll do our best to stay active safe and sound. please stay with us in a good state like us. i'm so thankful we could wrap up our dominate tour nicely. i think i will be able to sleep well tonight after a long time. good job, everyone. thank you very much

I think that's a big part of it. Also, the boys put a lot of trust in the coaching staff. It's been an honor to coach these guys. I'm very, very proud of them and they have managed to evolve as players and as people, and I think that's a very commendable thing. That's allowed them to go past metas again and again. To quote Ilia [something] because he's said this before in one of our team talks, you have to grow as people as well so that you can accept criticism. To stick together for this long, you have to make sure that everyone is progressing together, and I think that's a very difficult thing to do, and we managed to do that. And because of that, I know it's an out-of-game thing, but I think it affects how we look at the game and how we approach every situation, win or lose. We have had bad losses before and we're still here. We've learned from all these experiences. I think the emotional part of the finals is the thing that is difficult for us to overcome because we are an emotionally driven team and sometimes it gets the better of us. Today is one of those days where we forget everything that we have practiced and everyone is trying to win the game for the team. It snowballs into terrible mistakes that they feel really bad for. It seems to be that in grand finals, the team that plays tighter, in a sense, because we play a very loose style, and this thing backfires on us when it matters the most sometimes. Unfortunately, it's a live by the sword, die by the sword kind of thing for us. We'll have to figure out how to make sure that when we arrive in grand finals, we can still keep the same play style without having the weight of expectation on our own shoulders. G2 valyn: "I would say Paper Rex is a team that is pretty hard to prepare for. They play a really pressuring style of VALORANT and they have the talent to back it up. So any given day if one of them are popping off, they feed off that energy. So for us I think it's about just trying to slow it down. I think when games get tight we tend to speed up too much and on that Corrode we were kind of just running into them often, running into the OP, running into the stacks. So it's still a learning process for us. I think they're iterating on their game constantly. I think they're improving a lot. They're our kryptonite right now just like we're other teams' kryptonites. I think it's a matchup thing. It is a pain, but we lost to them. We learned a lot of our mistakes. We then closed out the Swiss. To go out to them is I guess poetic. They've been destroying us. So credit to them. They deserve it. Wish them luck in the tournament. And I know we're going to only get better because every time we play them I think we learn the most mistakes from us. So, we're just going to rewatch the VODs and try to get better and come back for the next Masters to beat them."

NRG Strong on the lessons they can take away from their loss to Paper Rex: "I would say the major lesson we probably had was the importance of setting up the players for success. I don't think we did as well as we could today. Maybe there's one or two things we could have done better. I think the major lesson, to be fair, is that our fundamentals are strong. We didn't play badly at all today. But because of how we are as a team, it can always come down to very tight margins. We're a team that doesn't generally blow teams out. We're a team that is so, so good at grinding out rounds and doing that sort of stuff. So I think the big lesson is: we're good, our fundamentals are good, we just have to be tight, and we just can't let anything for error slip in. There are lessons to be taken from this. This wasn't a bad loss. You get bad losses sometimes. It didn't feel like, 'Oh, we don't know what went wrong.' No, we know what went wrong. It's one or two small things, and it's things that we can adapt to, and it's things that will be better under different circumstances, and things that we can make the circumstances better for as well. So yeah, I think that would be the big lesson. We just have to be tight in these circumstances and there's no room for error on our end. That's a big, big, big thing."
