Chinese space startup, Nayuta Space released renders of wanting to belly flop the booster and land it horizontally. Let me break down why I don't think that's the best idea: 1. The booster is already designed to be structurally adequate vertically on ascent, so having the descent phase have landing loads horizontally adds a lot of extra mass and considerations. 2. The animation shows the booster flying more horizontally which is not something dihedral actuating flaps would be good at. They're good for maintaining orientation belly-ish first when they are perpendicular to wind flow, not parallel. In fact, I'll bet grid fins and using the fuselage as a lifting surface might have better cross range capabilities. 3. Although vertical landings look difficult, they're actually quite controllable, with physics similar to balancing a broomstick. Landing horizontally along a huge moment arm and several engines actually leaves little room for error. 4. Obviously landing horizontally requires additional engines that have no other use in flight, this is extra dry mass that takes away from the performance of the vehicle. Plus your main engines pull propellant through the bottom of your tanks, so if there'd have to be additional tanks or at least extra considerations to have tanks that can be used in the horizontal regime. 5. The booster doesn't experience that great of peak temperature during reentry because it's peak velocity during reentry is much lower, which is why you see rockets like Starship and Electron able to survive pencil diving back through the atmosphere without a reentry burn. Why am I accusing CEC, Gyanesh Kumar directly? There is an ongoing investigation on this matter in Karnataka. The CID of Karnataka has sent 18 letters in 18 months to the Election Commission. With the MLB draft coming up in 21 days, it's time to start prepping some of these guys to transition into pro ball! I fully expect to hear Ariston Veasey's name called EARLY this year. It's easy to see why: ✅ Sits 95 mph ✅ Tops 98 mph ✅ 20" IVB fastball (cut-ride 👀) ✅ Nasty slider ✅ ~60% whiff rate ✅ 32% K rate ✅ .138 BAA ✅ Absolute DOG on the mound The crazy part? Ariston is new to pitching! Not kidding. He had 10 innings in his entire life before I started coaching him last year. He's an elite athlete who is easy to coach because he can actually make adjustments if cued the right way. He dominated hitters this year with only 2 pitches. They're both elite and will play in pro ball. However, the untapped potential here is the best part. I've seen him throw changeups literally one time, and he threw some of the best ones I've ever seen. See for yourself in the first 3 pitches in the bullpen video. The kid's just got it. If we have yet to see a photo of Lance in a full-blown fursuit, why is he being referred to as a furry? Furthermore, why a "trans furry"? That term has been used so much that it's right up there with the usage of "grieving widow" 😒. What Lance is actually pictured wearing (in that one photo they keep circulating of him) is a kigurumi which happens to be a loose character onesie. Yes, some kigurumi are full mascot-style, but the overwhelming majority is comfort loungewear your niece owns in a Pikachu print. A fursuit is custom-built, plush, and represents an original "fursona." A full-fledged furry isn't calling themselves a furry while wearing a kigurumi. And for the record: not all furries, or kigurumi wearers, are LGBTQ+, though research shows many are. Slapping "trans furry" onto someone based on loungewear photos isn't identifying a pattern. It's inventing one. Also, where is the proof that Lance is transitioning? Has anyone seen evidence of this? Just curious. Like I said before, perhaps he's gay but that wouldn't have the same impact among conservatives as does labeling him as "trans". Did they think that people would just see that one photo of him in the onesie and say "yup, he's soooo trans that guy 👀." We all know that when an unverified label is released by the media, it doesn't stay contained. Once it's attached, it becomes the lens everything else gets filtered through. Sources start looking for things that confirm it instead of testing it & every downstream report inherits the error. We've seen this over & over. A label is supposed to be traceable back to verified fact. "Someone online said it" isn't a source. Mislabeling someone's hobby or identity isn't neutral. Additionally, someone pointed out to me that just two weeks before Charlie was "deleted", there was another case involving a trans furry in Minneapolis. I might have heard this months ago & completely forgot about it, but it's worth mentioning it again. Robin Westman (who media outlets reported as trans & who had an ex-girlfriend who was a furry) killed 2 children & injured 17 adults at a Catholic Church. Robin then died from a self-inflicted wound. Some media outlets like CNN reported that anti-semitic messages were scrawled on the weapons. Interesting. 🤔 Question: What proof do we have that Robin died from a self-inflicted wound? I'm asking because it has been speculated that that is how Tyler Robinson was "expected" to go out, but we all know that it didn't play out that way. And now we recently learned that Charlie's medical examiner's wife is a furry with some very strange interests. Just when you think that things can’t get any weirder 🫪. I don't know that we will ever learn the whole truth about what truly happened to Charlie, but at least we know that we are being lied to & they know we know. Keep applying pressure.
