A child needs the brain development puberty brings in order to begin to be able to understand the effects blocking puberty has. A child who hasn't been through puberty does not have the capacity to give meaningful consent to blocking the very thing that will give them capacity.

Anyone past the age of 15 knows an 11 year old cannot possibly imagine life next year never mind forever. Same way a 50 year old knows a 30 year old can't, but at least they have life experience to look back on and make a level headed assessment. Protect children & young adults.

Rubbish. Using puberty blockers to delay puberty start to 15yo is NO different to naturally starting puberty at 15yo...which is very common and used to be the majority norm until a few decades ago. By this 'logic' you'd have to give EVERY 12yo kid HRT to start puberty...
