Correct me if I'm 6 isn't this "fare hike" merely a resumption of the fare price prior to the Scottish Government pilot scheme that was subsidised by the Scottish taxpayer. Train fares in England & Wales, however, have had huge double figure "Fare hikes" 2023-24.

Where is the incentive to use public transport. This is why more and more people are taking their own cars etc. into the city centre of Glasgow

I’ll be using my car. If you work, trains are far too expensive & unreliable. Buses stink of weed, are noisy, cramped & there’s usually 1 or 2 having loud phone conversations/music. Snp have destroyed this countries infrastructure & it’s going to get worse. Close Holyrood! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧
