Pune-based spacetech startup Astrophel Aerospace has developed an indigenous cryogenic pump that spins at 25,000 RPM and is undergoing testing at ISRO facilities. They plan to upgrade this into a turbopump by the end of 2026 as part of their upcoming Astra C1 launch vehicle.

This bootstrapped startup just completed the first successful hot-fire test of their cryogenic methalox engine. And they did it from their own test facility called SPARC. Which they built in under 3 months. This engine is called Cryonix. Each of these engines will be capable of producing a thrust of 100kN. And nine of these engines will power their own small lift launch vehicle called Mach Blue. They are planning to do commercial launches within the next 3 years.

Is it proper procedure to aim pepper spray into the window of a moving vehicle? Scott: No. Magaziner: Were any of your agents investigated or disciplined for this? The L-band radar + the entire rest of the spacecraft is made by ISRO, and the launch service is also provided by ISRO, but you wouldn't know that unless NASA themselves tell you about it, cuz ISRO doesn't care 🤡
