Put these students in Parliament! Starmer may think phones aren't causing real problems in schools but EVERY SINGLE student I spoke to at a school in Worcestershire told me how distracting they are — they want change. 📵 Back these students and back our call to ban phones in schools:

If everyone you spoke to said phones shouldn’t be allowed in school - why is a specific law needed at all? They could just not take them. Plus of course the school heads already have the power to make the rule if needed.

Meet Liam. School officials punished Liam for wearing a shirt that challenged the government’s narrative—a troubling example of free speech being censored. Don’t let your rights slip away. Get our FREE “Know Your Rights” guide and stand firm in your convictions.

@Startinglifeag1 Kids need us to make the rules they desperately need. They struggle Tobe the o es that are different and walk away. So we have to be the adults here.

I’ve no problem with that if it’s in lesson time. I don’t think it’s a good idea for students to Not have a phone with them on the way to school or going home after school. With no telephone boxes they need access to their phones in case of an emergency etc. or dubious practices by people in their areas. Just an outside thought on that matter.

Makes you wonder how adults function and cope with such distracting devices to hand. Almost like some kind of discipline must be instilled in the youth rather than banning things

If you get the chance, do tell Kemi Badenoch that schools already have that power (if she isn't takiing your calls, ask your new friend Bob Jenrick to pass the message on)

I know but have you seen that TV show?

Should also ban phones in parliament

They'd be better than some of the far right loons in your cabal.

Sincerely @KemiBadenoch is tackling the real life issues with real terms..... I'm also struggling to do without my phone even with importantly things to be done. Keep being real sis.

That is deceitful : he said leave it to schools to choose their regulations.
