To paraphrase… “We can’t buy western tech anymore & western specialists won’t be coming back. We can’t buy parts or components either. So we need to either create our own, or do as our forefathers used to do, steal & copy their designs… 👍🏼”

Translation: We need to re-invent the wheel because internationally we've eff'ed up so badly. Big trouble is a lot of the innovators & clever folks, jumped ship after the invasion. Putin will have to rely on a team of chimps with typewriters for innovation.

There’s no such thing as “technological sovereignty” To be a technological society requires that society to democratic and open to other countries and innovation Technology doesn’t exist in a vacuum
