Solana’s active validator count has fallen from 2,100 to ~800 in the last 3 years. Why? > small-mid size validators are being pruned by Solana since April 2025 > inflation rewards dropping from 6% to 1.5% > SFDP decreased stake matching from 100% to 50%, this will trend to 0% Validators are dying from the burden of their huge operating costs.
