BREAKING: Secretary Scott Bessent has had ENOUGH of so-called reporters carrying water for Democrats who claim the American people are being SCREWED by the tariff refunds. He just set the record straight. "If I hear another Democratic legislator make the inane remark that the American people should get the money, the American people HAD the money in the U.S. Treasury and we were FORCED to give it back." MORNING JOE: Does the president realize that the consumer pays the tariffs? BESSENT: I'm gonna have to disagree with that. Who pays the tariffs is a choice. What we're seeing so far is that manufacturers are eating a substantial portion of the tariffs and taking it into their profit margins.
