We discussed why NVIDIA is not building a quantum computer, but instead the infrastructure around it: GPUs, AI, CUDA-Q, quantum simulation, control systems, error correction, and the path toward hybrid CPU/GPU/QPU supercomputing. China is stealing encrypted data now so they can crack it later once quantum computing catches up, which means our national security, banking systems, military intelligence, federal secrets and yes, even the nuclear codes are all part of the stakes. President Donald J. Trump set a 2030 deadline for high-value federal systems to move to post-quantum security, which is both absolutely necessary and deeply terrifying when you remember we are asking the same bureaucracy that treats updating a PDF like the moon landing to rewrite the encryption backbone of the federal government. This is the new arms race, and whoever gets there first does not just win a technology race. They gain the ability to dominate the digital world. Watch the interview. The future is coming fast, and pretending otherwise is naive, at best.

China is stealing encrypted data now so they can crack it later once quantum computing catches up, which means our national security, banking systems, military intelligence, federal secrets and yes, even the nuclear codes are all part of the stakes. President Donald J. Trump set a 2030 deadline for high-value federal systems to move to post-quantum security, which is both absolutely necessary and deeply terrifying when you remember we are asking the same bureaucracy that treats updating a PDF like the moon landing to rewrite the encryption backbone of the federal government. This is the new arms race, and whoever gets there first does not just win a technology race. They gain the ability to dominate the digital world. Watch the interview.
