Tarantino said, "I had no doubt he would. I'm sure he's going to do the greatest taking of Omaha Beach ever captured in cinema, on film." He added that Spielberg was one of the few living directors he could still learn from, calling him "such a perfect filmmaker" and "a master moviemaker."
