I'm a giant alien universe fan but fuck Ridley Scott. Prometheus was filled with holes and plot points that made zero sense. The coolest thing about it was the Engineers and we barely ever got any answers. Not to mention we never got an ending post Covenant. What a joke.

The movie is weak and beneath Ridley and the next one after this was even worse - fastbender is one of the best villains ever on film and Ridley wasted each performance with horrible female heros - it's unreal how bad the scripts were for each of these films - Ridley makes bombs and much as he has made greatness.

Beautiful cinematography but that’s about it. As a massive Alien fan I couldn’t wait to see this but it turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments ever. Storyline was awful and the characters - thick and badly written. Such a wasted opportunity.

Ridley Scott missed an opportunity to meld the Blade Runner and Alien universe together. Weyland Yutani features prominently in both. Imagine replicants going off to fight xenomorphs. Would've been EPIC (with the right storyline)💥
