Question: "Could you write a better ending than that [to your college career?]" Luke Altmyer: "No, not really." "We're just a bunch of underdogs, man. That's just my story, man: Doing things the right way, being tough as nails, whatever it takes to go win - go do it."

Houston Rockets forward Jabari Smith Jr. on how much Alperen Sengun's talk to the team meant before Game 4: "Just the belief aspect. Just the family that we have here. Just pulling us together and letting us know that whatever happens - win, lose or draw - these next few games, we're going to go out with fight. We're going to go out swinging. We're going to go out together. "We're going to go out doing the right things that got us here. . . "That's basically what he was saying. And rallying us together. It was a good talk. And we needed it for sure."

Bo Nix ended his presser with a monologue about his career. "I'm gonna miss college football. It was my goal my entire life to be a college QB and to win a national championship... Just a lot of emotions. A lot going on that man you wish you could change... I'm going to be okay. We're all going to be okay. We're going to get up tomorrow and go back to work and see what life provides in the future."

life advice from verhao 🐻‍❄️ none of it really matters in the grand scheme of things. like you said, we’re all going to die anyway, so do i really need to torment myself and worry this much? 🎱 but you can’t help tormenting yourself 🐻‍❄️ right, but if you think about these risky things and end up doing nothing, can you even call that living? 🎱 you can’t 🐻‍❄️ just doing what you want is the way to go 🎱 just do whatever feels right! 🐻‍❄️ do your own thing~

Qullamaggie on Tough Life of a Successful Trader “Being a consistently successful trader is a tough life, man. You gotta put in so much effort to get to that level. Most people just give up. If you want to be a successful trader, you really need to want it. If you think you’re gonna do this on the side, you know make some money and then go do some photography or art the rest of your life, you’re not gonna make it. It needs to be your calling; otherwise, you can just put your money in the index funds and be better off. You need to be a little bit obsessive like you can’t focus on too many other things. It’s the same way with everything. If you want to be top performer in any field, it’s the same thing - that needs to be your main focus. You can’t do anything else. It needs to be your main focus."

Draymond Green talking about Chris Paul retirement “A lot of people say because CP3 didn’t win a championship, he is not a winner. When you compete against him what he did with teams, was one of the ultimate winners you just need so much luck and things to go your way in order to win a championship. But man CP3 is one of the ultimate winners, incredible to compete against him, incredible to call him a friend, just to play a part of his career and not that I played a part of making his career, but being a competitor in his career and helping as he built his story. Was incredible to watch” (Via The Draymond Green Show)

Ben McCollum: "Trying to get them to understand that you're not just a win-a-conference-tournament-game team. You're not just a make-the-NCAA-Tournament team. You need to be able to win those games... Trying to go from really good to being great is something that is really hard to do and our kids need to understand really good is not acceptable. It's actually worse than being just bad."

🚨KANYE WEST "I really have a case of autism. Autism takes you to a Rain Man thing, where you're like 'I'm going to wear this Trump hat because I like Trump in general,' and then when people tell you not to do it, you just get on that one point. That's why when fans tell me to do my album one way, I'll do it the opposite way because 'laaaa laaaa la la...i got my money right. 🎵" 💀

😂 🇺🇦 If elections are a condition for ending the war, then let's do it. But if you just want to get rid of me, of this thing that's in your way, at least find a legislative way to do it. - Zelensky. "Anyone can win the elections, but, firstly, it's not certain that I will run," - added the outgoing president. He also continued his stand-up, saying that Ukraine is fighting against corruption: "It's a lie that there's more corruption in Ukraine than in other European countries. We have corruption, but we're fighting against it, and we're doing a great job." - KF

Francis Ford Coppola on why he feels 'The Godfather' (1972) ruined his career: "In some ways 'The Godfather' (1972) did ruin me. It just made my whole career go this way instead of the way I really wanted it to go, which was into doing original work as a writer-director. It just inflamed so many other desires. After 'The Godfather', there was the possibility of having a company that could one day evolve into a real major company and change the way we approach filmmaking. Suddenly, a lot of things that I didn’t have a shot at I did. 'The Conversation' (1974), which I did write and direct as an original, was a film nobody wanted me to do, but I got to make it out of the deal to do 'Godfather II' (1974). The great frustration of my career is that nobody really wants me to do my own work. Basically, 'The Godfather' made me violate a lot of the hopes I had for myself at that age." (Francis Ford Coppola's interview with Michael Sragow, 1997) P.S: On this day, 54 yeas ago, "The Godfather" (1972) premiered in New York City, USA.

Mark Zuckerberg: "I'd rather hire someone with raw intelligence and no experience than a 10-year veteran" "The two most important things I look for, number one is just raw intelligence." Zuckerberg explains why: "You can hire someone who is a software engineer and has been doing it for 10 years. If they've been doing it for 10 years, that's probably what they're doing for their life. And that's cool. There are things that person can do. They're definitely useful in an organization." But here's the tradeoff: "If you find someone whose raw intelligence exceeds theirs but has way less experience, they can probably adapt and learn way quicker. Within a very short amount of time, they'll be able to do a lot of things that the experienced person may never be able to do." The second thing he looks for: "Alignment with what we're trying to do. People can be really smart or have skills that are directly applicable. But if they don't really believe in it, they're not going to work hard. Even if they're a smart guy who doesn't have the relevant experience, if they don't care enough, they're not going to develop the relevant experience in order to succeed." On who he's actually hired: "The best people I've hired so far have been people who didn't really have that much engineering experience. I hired a couple of electrical engineers out of Stanford as new programming staff. They had very little programming experience going in. But just really smart. Really willing to go at it." He gives an example: "The guy who built Photos was one of those guys. If you're willing to just go and do whatever it takes to get it out, you're probably more valuable than someone who's just a career software engineer."

🍀 "how do you overcome times when your willpower drops?" 🐻 "when willpower drops, just live with it dropped. just let it flow. and then, at some point, someday you'll have the strength to do it again. but i think the most important thing at that time is to completely empty your mind of any desire to do something. like, 'i don't want to do it right now. i'm not going to do it.' if you can cleanly say that, that's great. but if there's even a little bit of, 'i should be doing it, so why am i not doing it?' in your mind, then it's better to just go ahead and do it. but in the end, when your willpower is down, you can't do it anyway. so in the end, i think it's good to take care of your own feelings. that's how i overcame it."
