quick practice easy hair no lineart

That looks so cool!! I keep trying to do that, but I always get the strands confused. What do you think about when you do it? Like... first lights then shadow then darker spots?

it’s easier for me to laying down the darker parts and then carve out the light parts and start refining the details. i try to lay down the big “main” chunk first and then add small strands after so i won’t get confused
