Here's the YouTube link in case the video is too blurry

WOAH UNBELIEVABLE!!! There are so many things I didn't know about krita animation??? Thank you for sharing your knowledge!🙌🙏💗

@qvs19wh2561827 Happy to save people from the pains of finding out features way too late LMAO you're welcome!!

OH BTW!! I forgot to mention that you can hide the mask and the animation will go back to normal. A transform mask isn't destructive unless you choose to merge it with the animation layer

Ive never made the paning on the same krita, Ive always used either premier or blender to do the paning and use their animation curves

Exactly the same actually! My actual background is cobbled together in Premiere and I remade it on Krita just for this tutorial. Krita takes time regenerating the code for each change in the panning background so I just prefer Premiere because it's faster and has more control

Wait, THIS WAS DONE IN KRITA? THE ACTUAL KRITA?!

@BinhAn42614673 YES LMAO I just changed my UI themes and added some dockers

How you changed it though?

Settings > Dockers. I grabbed the Advanced Color Selector, Animation Timeline, Onion Skin, and Brush Presets if i remember corectly. Just drag to whichever you prefer. Since I'm left handed, I prefer my tools at the left side and colors on the right so I could see them

Thanks, lad

i was literally needing this omg

Haha hope this works out for you then

how do u make the spinning motion so smooth! i have a hard time doing those

If you meant the spinning in the first few seconds, I held Ctrl and click and drag outside of the transform tool's box

oops my bad i meant movement hehe, i wonder if u have any guide to make spinning movement more smooth like the way they dance

That's kind of hard to explain in text and I don't have a guide for it. This dance is a reference to the Beastars opening and it definitely helped. For my other animations I just use a lot of references. Most of it I take videos of myself or props

I DIDNT KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS ON KRITA WHAT THE HELL MY EYES OPENED

Krita also has perspective assistants/rulers, import video, audio track, proper onion skinning, frame cloning (not to be mistaken by duplicating), and animated brushes (yes, you could add a video as your brush) There's probably more that I don't remember
