I've been testing with an unreleased WIP LTX 2.3 LoRA by LDWorks and among other things it enables some of the best performance transfer I've seen so far. It has some ghosting issues, but for a one-shot generation with no masking or pose data it's pretty impressive!

NVIDIA says Codex post-trained Cosmos 3 Nano from 54.41% to 93.35% accuracy in one day - with two prompts. The experiment used Toyota’s Woven Traffic Safety dataset: 8,000+ training and validation samples for four-choice video reasoning. Okay... this is actually insane. OpenCodex feels like the open-source breakthrough I've been waiting for. The best part : You can plug multiple providers into the same OpenAI Codex harness and switch between models depending on the task. Running low on tokens? No problem. Use another provider. OpenRouter free model today? Plug it in. This completely changes how I think about AI coding workflows. And yes... it even works on mobile. OpenCodex might be one of the most useful open-source AI projects I've seen this year. OpenAI built an incredible harness. The open-source community just made it universal.

Some news from the Labs division of Aeos. We're now moving off Heygen. We trained a custom WAN 2.1 I2V Lora which can now mimic looking down at screens too. As we expected years ago, base models have commoditized and it's cheaper + better to just run with open source long term.

Seedance 1.0 multi-shot is so powerful. It's one of the strongest AI video models I've found that can give you different angles from a single image. It's great for consistency and am hoping this becomes a normalized feature across more tools. Some examples.

This is the coolest Diffusion work I've seen in a while! It generates Visual Anagrams, a type of optical illusion where an image looks like one thing, but changes appearance when transformed. It works with any orthogonal transformation matrices, which luckily include rotation, permutation (jigsaw puzzles), and color negation. Intuitively, the method first inverts the noise from multiple image transforms (with different text prompts), and then average them. After taking a diffusion step in the averaged noise, the resulting image becomes an anagram that aligns with the texts in different views. It does very little computation, using pre-trained Stable Diffusion. Simple, elegant, and inexpensive technique for non-professionals to create some interesting art! Paper: Website: It's open-source! Authors: Daniel Geng, Inbum Park, Andrew Owens.
