One is called beauty and fashion; the other “ghetto” or “ratchet”. This is not taste but power, appropriating Blackness while devaluing Black people.

I’m Glad Jamaican women are calling it out. I knew it was coming sooner or later. The truth is Black women started following white women there and no one spoke on it. Black American women wrote a movie and books about there trips. But for some reason everyone were focused on BM.
