Rainmaker CEO Augustus Doricko argues it's IMPOSSIBLE for his cloud seeding operations to have caused the Texas flooding: "The best operations we've ever seen can produce tens of millions of gallons of precipitation over the course of about an hour or two...that storm dropped TRILLIONS of gallons. @ADoricko Perhaps we don't understand the mechanisms of the environment as well as we think we do. Either way it does not seem like a smart move to artificially interfere in this way.

@ADoricko How about we just don't mess with mother nature.

@ADoricko Thought weather mods were conspiracy theory?

What are the affects of silver iodide on crops, ground soil, animals, ecosystems? What happens when a company like this makes mistakes? ALL companies make mistakes. I did not consent to ANYONE (farmers, govt agencies, companies) spraying chemicals into the air above me for any purpose.

@ADoricko Sounds like there’s no need for cloud seeding?

@ADoricko It’s more the unintended consequences I’m concerned about. How much do they know about the domino effects of manipulating weather?

@ADoricko Maybe STOP Doing This!

I don't think it would matter if I believe him or not but I do. Flooding is not new to this planet. Devastating flooding is not new to this planet. Tragic flooding is not new to this planet. And you only have to be as old as I am to remember that the Mississippi and Missouri rivers used to eat farms on an annual basis in the '80s. They made movies about it They changed the laws for they changed insurance regulations for it. People were lost farms destroyed. A horrific tragedy but it is just that a tragedy. Couldn't we focus on supporting the families and communities who have suffered from it rather than blaming idiotic pseudoscience or cloud seeding projects?

@ADoricko There's a history of this happening for as long as cloud seeding has been done... Stop playing God.

@ADoricko I just heard that this guy doesn’t know any of the science, he just owns the company who does the seeding.
