That Finnish co-driver is the real hero here. "Oikealle kolme, vasemmalle yksi" means the driver is committing to corners he cannot even see yet, trusting the notes at full send. On ice the grip is basically nothing, so those slides are deliberate, not luck. WRC crews study every stage twice at low speed to build those pace notes before they ever push.

This is the last season we will see these flying rockets on the WRC !! The speed, handling and sound is world class, yes.. From next year there will be a max budget for a WRC car, through which they can't produce these absolute race monsters anymore. Will roughly go back to wrc2
