Trusting your co-driver when you’re flying down narrow roads blind at 100+ mph takes insane nerve

Why are all these rally videos sped up, 1x speed rally not exciting enough for you?

Dude needs Eminem as a copilot for this speed 💀

🤣

sped up btw

No need to speed the footage up. Rally is fast as is.

u thought its sped up?

It is.

Video is sped up, Block was an incredible driver but not competitive at elite/world level in WRC. His Gymkhana videos were iconic.

Rally drivers are by far THE best race drivers in any car motorsport, isle of man tt riders gotta be mentioned too.

no lies

Ken Block was an awesome showman, but if you want to see the best of rally driving in that era, check out Colin McRea circa 1995, when he won the WRC world championship… that was driving alongside Derek Ringer, his co driver.

that's how everyone sees themselves when driving here in rural finland

This video is artificially accelerated and Ken Block was never even a 3rd or 4th level rally driver. Do you want to see impresdive rally content? Look for Loeb or Ogier's videos.

Why speed up the video? Terrible driver... Please respect rally community

Block was incredible. His Hoonigan stuff was amazing, Wild in the Streets of LA was his finest hour. So sad to lose him to some simple snowmobile accident.

Ken block was good at showing off, actual rally driving not so good, terrible actually

You don’t need to speed up footage to make rallying impressive.

That level of split-second trust is exactly what makes rally racing so much more intense than track driving.

fr man… imagine he made an error

Rally driving is like Star Wars Pod Racing for gifted individuals with magic powers

Just for what it’s worth, ignoring the sped up video, for as fantastic as Ken was with all the gymkhana stuff, he was a super mediocre rally driver.

I prefer to drive. Thanks, never understood co-drivers honestly, like why would you put yourself into so much risk without the fun of driving?

Let's also not forget to shout out the co-drivers for having equally insane reaction times and being able to read the instructions correctly and clearly in the moment

Rip Ken Block 🙏🏼

🪦💐

if its 100mph why tf would you sped that up? also since when africa is using MPH?

"Insane nerve" looks a LOT like "psychopath". Respect, either way.

Is dude solving Maths👀🤣

At them speeds, what information is being relayed to the driver?

what to expect and how to move

This seems sped up

future drivers only need AI copilot

It's speeded up footage; you can see it when the co-driver's hands turning pages! I'm not sure why you do that!

Girls:I don`t trust her we met only five years ago. Guy1:I know we just met in this event but would you like to be my co driver, last one retired and its mid season, next race is in 8 days? Guy2:Ok...

they trust the roll cage more.

@SittingBear0921 is this how you drive?

@SittingBear0921 👀

That mutual reliance defines rally. Block leaned on Alex Gelsomino's pace notes corner by corner, and a single delayed callout at those velocities means a crash. Co-drivers rattle off shorthand for bends, crests and jumps quicker than tires chew tarmac. Gymkhana looked effortless, but it was thousands of hours of two minds locked in sync.

I do like a good rally game on my PC! Different to other racing games, you have to concentrate on the guy with the notes, be 2 or 3 bends ahead, or end up in a ditch! Dirt 4 is still a cool one...That is insane driving!...x

He knows he also doesn’t want to die

Trash video. Ken was good. But he never won on the wrc.

Ken Block was not a great rallye driver, good but not great. Take a look at this.

This is rad. So amazing of a talent.
