Horrendous. Heartbreaking news from Amsterdam. Is this what we have become? Modern day pogrom as we are remembering Kristallnacht. I am in Texas and it is middle of the night here as I write. Friends from Europe are texting and calling me about the horrendous situation in Amsterdam. In the night of November 7 in Amsterdam there were widespread and terrible raids on Jewish people. After the soccer game Ajax-Maccabi Tel Aviv, large groups of radical moslims violently attacked Jews, injured them, ran over them with cars… 💔 How is this possible? Why did it take the police so long to get there ? Even on European soil we fail to protect human dignity. Is this what we have become ? It's just terrible! Revolting! Imagine you are Jewish. And you know this: as soon as you walk out of your house to go running, go grocery shopping, go to school or to the synagogue, this can happen to you. How would you feel? I spoke about this situation of terrible discriminations this week in parliament. Worrying about antisemitism is not an exaggeration. Fighting it is our responsibility. The Dutch local government has failed. My thoughts are with the victims. I am furious with the Dutch local government. This is what we have become. Because we have forgotten that this violence is still possible if we are not honest, vigilant and decisive. If people who live in Europe are capable of this horrible attacks, it says a lot about how europe failed to impose its values even on its own soil. And there are still people who will think speaking of hatred against jewish people is an exaggeration. It is not. This is the week of the Kristallnacht commemorations. To my Ukrainian friends who are now calling Poland fascist because of another attack on Ukrainian couple by minority nationalists: don’t make the same mistake that some Poles are making about Ukraine.🇵🇱🇺🇦 A bunch of nationalist thugs brutally attacking innocent Ukrainians does not represent Poland. They represent themselves and minority of far-right nationalists. They are already identified, arrested, will be prosecuted, and punished to the fullest extent of the law. But here’s my warning to Ukraine as well. Nationalism is a poison that doesn’t simply disappear when the war ends. Right now, many Ukrainian nationalists are fighting Russia. Their courage on the battlefield and the ideology they hold are two separate questions. When the war is over, Ukraine will face a completely different challenge: how to reintegrate hundreds of thousands of veterans into civilian life, including people with trauma, combat experience, and, in many cases, strong nationalist beliefs. Every country that goes through a major war faces this challenge. If Ukraine fails to deal with it wisely, some radical groups could become a serious internal problem, just as extremist nationalist groups have become a problem in peace times Poland and elsewhere. My point isn’t that Poland is fascist or that Ukraine is fascist. My point is that unchecked nationalism eventually turns against everyone. Today it may target Russians. To my Ukrainian friends who are now calling Poland fascist because of another attack on Ukrainian couple by minority nationalists: don’t make the same mistake that some Poles are making about Ukraine.🇵🇱🇺🇦 A bunch of nationalist thugs brutally attacking innocent Ukrainians does not represent Poland. They represent themselves and minority of far-right nationalists. They are already identified, arrested, will be prosecuted, and punished to the fullest extent of the law. But here’s my warning to Ukraine as well. Nationalism is a poison that doesn’t simply disappear when the war ends. Right now, many Ukrainian nationalists are fighting Russia. Their courage on the battlefield and the ideology they hold are two separate questions. When the war is over, Ukraine will face a completely different challenge: how to reintegrate hundreds of thousands of veterans into civilian life, including people with trauma, combat experience, and, in many cases, strong nationalist beliefs. Every country that goes through a major war faces this challenge. If Ukraine fails to deal with it wisely, some radical groups could become a serious internal problem, just as extremist nationalist groups have become a problem in peace times Poland and elsewhere. My point isn’t that Poland is fascist or that Ukraine is fascist. My point is that unchecked nationalism eventually turns against everyone. Today it may target Russians. Our Kids Are Losing Proper English And It’s Not Just “Slang” It’s A Sort Of Chav HoodRat English! Has anybody else noticed how our youngsters talk these days? Especially in the towns and cities. It’s not the old accents we knew it’s this flat, mashed-up way of speaking that sounds half “chav” and half something else. It’s like they’ve never heard proper English spoken at home or in school. I’m convinced a big part of it is the migrant influence that’s flooded our culture over the years. We’ve brought in huge numbers of low-skilled people who didn’t grow up with our language, and instead of proper assimilation we just let it all mix. Now the clear, straightforward English that used to get passed down through families and proper schooling is getting diluted. Kids pick up whatever’s around them on the street and online, and it shows and it’s definitely coming from gang culture and rap music. This isn’t harmless evolution. It’s what happens when you change the makeup of a country fast without caring if the basics like speaking our own language properly. Our youngsters aren’t thick, they’re just soaking up what’s put in front of them. And we’re the ones who let it happen, this Chav Language disease is even infecting middle England now. As I sit here in DC this week, we are closer to something I was not sure I would ever see. I have been working in this industry since 2015. For most of those years, the defining feature of crypto in Washington was not policy. It was the absence of it. A gray zone where serious people built serious things under a constant cloud, never quite sure which rules applied or whether the ground would move beneath them. This week the CLARITY Act sits on the Senate calendar. A federal framework for digital asset market structure, the thing this industry has wanted for the better part of a decade, is closer than it has ever been. It is not law yet, and there are real hurdles left. But the distance between where we stood a few years ago and where we are sitting today is hard to put into words. I keep thinking about the work that got us here. Over the past year I watched Chainlink move from outside these conversations to inside them. Sergey at the White House for the signing of the GENIUS Act. The Department of Commerce putting government economic data onchain. Meetings with the SEC that became real interpretive guidance. Conversations with the lawmakers now writing the rules. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people keep showing up, year after year, and make the case in rooms where it is not yet obvious. And there is something fitting in it. The entire premise of what we build is verification. Making truth provable. Removing the question of what is real. The work here in DC is the same thing in a different form. Not surprisingly, the results are disturbing. 🚨Every year, Muslims of France (the main French Muslim organization, and the French branch of the Muslim Brotherhood) organizes a conference that attracts hundreds of thousands of Muslims from all over Europe. The group also invites radical imams who speak to the crowd. 🚨The survey showed that 49% of French Muslims want Catholics to convert to Islam, and that 36% percent want churches to be transformed into mosques. The survey also discloses that 25% of French Muslims said that the word "France" is a word they reject. 🚨More than 70% of prison inmates in France are Muslim. According to reports, the crime rate among the Muslim population is high. There are also more than two hundred rapes every day in France, most perpetrated by Muslim men who entered France illegally. Only 7% of illegal immigrants ordered to leave France are ever actually deported. 🚨A similar situation to that of France can be found in other Western European countries, where the Muslim population may be smaller but is quickly growing. 🚨If Europeans wish to avoid such a future and keep their culture, they need to start making that outcome unmistakably clear to everyone, not just by words but by actions. If not, what we are seeing could well mean the end of the European civilization as we know it.

The group also invites radical imams who speak to the crowd. 🚨The survey showed that 49% of French Muslims want Catholics to convert to Islam, and that 36% percent want churches to be transformed into mosques. The survey also discloses that 25% of French Muslims said that the word "France" is a word they reject. 🚨More than 70% of prison inmates in France are Muslim. According to reports, the crime rate among the Muslim population is high. There are also more than two hundred rapes every day in France, most perpetrated by Muslim men who entered France illegally. Only 7% of illegal immigrants ordered to leave France are ever actually deported. 🚨A similar situation to that of France can be found in other Western European countries, where the Muslim population may be smaller but is quickly growing. 🚨If Europeans wish to avoid such a future and keep their culture, they need to start making that outcome unmistakably clear to everyone, not just by words but by actions. If not, what we are seeing could well mean the end of the European civilization as we know it.
