I’m so sorry but this is the new worst Mega design out of EVERY Mega IMO. Never liked Floette,this was a chance to make it more epic,or at the very least just make its actual face or body a bit different…instead they just give it a bigger,more boring flower I havent beat the game yet and I know this is a Mega exists for the story, but it doesn’t matter. This design and its animations below is what we get and it’s just so uninteresting and uninspired. Sure it’s the same concept as Mega Kangaskhan…but worse. Only the flower Mega Evolves but the flower isn’t a pokemon, it doesn’t have a character or a face (or a good animation to demonstrate its own sentience). I get that it’s because it’s following the whole Floette line gimmick of just their flowers changing. But it’s just not good. I would’ve at least preferred that it evolved into Florges gained a new color and then its Mega would just gain this same flower🤷‍♂️ The shiny is bad too lol

"honestly, i don't think i'm very good at letting (my characters) go. once i take on a project, i end up doing it for about 8 to 10 months, and i feel like my way of speaking and habits from that time remain a bit. so even after a project wraps up, that character actually stays with me for a while. but when that happens, i try as much as possible not to do the things that the character used to do for 8 months. for example like a certain posture or things like that. and then i cut my hair from when i played that character to try and see a different image of myself too. but honestly, even if i cut my hair, that character doesn't really go away. so for me, honestly, rather than saying 'i'm letting them go', i just always cherish them and no matter what project i do in the future, i feel like there will still be moments where i think of that character. since i consider (those) moments to be a part of who i am too, i actually really like seeing those moments keep piling up within me."

I hate the way modern movies are shot. Here's a scene from the 2024 Netflix movie Damsel, which I just watched last night. Notice how it's basically just two characters talking while looking directly at each other, filmed in a lazy shot/reverse shot fashion where one character will be filmed in a medium shot or close-up, then it will cut to a medium shot or close-up of the other character, and it just goes back and forth like that until they're done talking and one of them leaves. Notice how they have this interesting location where a lot could be going on, but one of the characters is just kind of fucking around, pretending to do something with the flowers until it's time for the other character to start talking to them, then when they're done talking, she just leaves instead of continuing whatever it was she was doing when the other character came in. It's like the scene was written with only dialog, and they didn't have anything in mind for the characters to be doing other than talking, so the director just told that one lady to fuck around with the flowers until the other actress made it to her mark so it wouldn't just start with her standing around. The context of this scene is one character is realizing the other character is hiding something sinister. Until this point, we don't know that the lady on the left is evil and is taking advantage of the lady on the right. The scene starts with Bad Lady up on the platform, which physically places her higher in the scene; a visually dominant position. But then Good Lady steps up onto the platform with her, visually putting them on equal footing, which contradicts the purpose of the scene. They could have had Good Lady looking up at Bad Lady from below, then at the critical moment, had Bad Lady lean over the rail while talking down to Good Lady, using her body language to convey a sense of power over her. I mean, that's not much, but it would have been something. Most of the talking scenes in this movie are shot this way. It's so bland that I wondered if they used the Volume, but then I found out they actually shot these scenes at real locations. They were given permission to film at these amazing locations, but barely utilized them to their visual storytelling potential.

This hack actually works, if you go near the end of the store hours before close and ask the shop if they have any mistakes you can have or buy, most of the time they will give them to you. The only thing I would keep in mind is that allot of the time, the less fortunate people usually do this. Back in high school, when I worked at a pizza shop, we always had some people down on their luck people hoping to get a cheap pizza or a free one, many of the times I wouldn’t actually give it to them. I didn’t care, the money didn’t come out of my pocket so I just made them a fresh one, was I wrong for this or would you do that too?

"I'm very grateful towards everyone. when I first saw the script, as an actress, there were definitely heart palpitations... I might be criticised very badly (because of how xu yan might be perceived as a scheming evil woman) but when I read the script, I was really very moved... my heart aches a lot for xu yan. at that moment, I felt a strong sense of empathy for that character. I also feel that there was an assimilation (of the character and myself) I was just thinking, that even if xu yan weren't the first female lead of the drama... if she were the second or third female lead, I would've still been willing to portray her role. she's able to convey the message that I hope to express. so irregardless of how "major" or "minor" her character is, I would've still wanted to bring this character, xu yan, to the audience. it was just something I hoped to do what I didn't expect was that everyone quite like this character and many people actually support her. so I've actually dispelled my (worries). it was just like cheng shaoshang (love like the galaxy) from the past... when I used to be the only one who really pitied her. but of course, it's been more than 2 years now and everyone is now able to stand for women. so I'm very grateful and happy that my character is gaining love beyond the screen" 🩷 #ZhaoLusi #LovesAmbition
