I understand your concern, but I’m not asserting definitively that she was 18 or 19 I’m simply highlighting that this view is historically plausible. Here is a video of Shaykh al-Dadow expressing a similar position. As I mentioned, this is not a matter of ʿaqīdah or fiqh, so it seems like an unusual issue to be overly dogmatic about.

This never happened. I didn’t know who she was, and neither D nor I asked her about anything. She’s not nearly as important as she thinks. She’s the one who sent me a weird friend request and slid into my DMs after that court date🥴 PS-Imagine trying to enlist someone who used to call you her best friend to listen in on a call and bait you into saying something? That doesn’t just feel unethical, it sounds a lot like an attempt at illegal recording or witness intimidation. I’m very glad I didn’t take that call this week. Yikes.

I don’t understand why the internet is being unkind to this woman, yes she had two kids by the time she was 17. Sometimes things happen and you just roll with it, as far as we can see, she is trying the best as she can, she cleans and wakes up early everyday to make meals for her family. Before you judge notice at the end how there is a plate for her child and her boyfriend, her other child is on formula, she didn’t make a plate for herself. She knows money is tight and she puts them first before herself. I don’t think it matters if she started a family young like this, we don’t know her situation, do you feel she’s doing as best as she can with the hand she’s dealt?
