Approach to SDU airport. It's wonderful!!!

I thought those blocks of flats were the runway; so probably just as well I'm not a pilot.

Don't you sometimes want to forget the approach and just stare at the beauty ? - not just Rio, there will be many others

Was that a slight overshoot on the turn to final? A bit dubious with parallel runways.

This approach comes with worries on what taxi to take or not, how to get to the hotel w/o being ripped off. How to catch a bus instead!? Lack of info. Is it ok to cross the lanes!? And finally: what am I doing here!?

9/10. He over turned a little on the turn from base to final and had to correct - and appeared to be just left of centerline for much of the approach - it depends on the wind direction whether that's a good idea or not.

It looks like the Rio approach; we've flown that approach before.
