React Native feels more native than ever. So I started tagging every block on that is powered by native components. That’s how the Native facet was born. I hope it becomes a handy spot for anyone chasing that truly native feel.

Introducing React Native Enriched Markdown – a new React Native Enriched package by Gregory Moskaliuk! 🚀 It’s a fully native Markdown renderer for React Native that makes Markdown content feel like a first-class part of your app’s UI. ⚡ Purely native performance – lightning-fast parsing with md4c and 100% native text components ✨ Native text & image interactions (select, copy, translate, save, etc.) 📝 Smart rich-text copy (HTML/RTF) + “Copy as Markdown” option 🔗 GitHub link in the 🧵. If you find it useful, a ⭐would mean a lot!

I built a React Native bottom sheet with SwiftUI. All the work is done on the native side, and the API feels like RadixUI.

For our new product, we built a chat in React Native that feels like iMessage Here's how we did it: ① Fabric Swift View ② UICollectionView ③ SwiftUI cells via UIHostingConfiguration React is responsible for the state - mutations, fetching, infinite loading - all via React Query. The native Fabric view is purely for rendering. React decides what to show, native decides how to show it The bridge between three frameworks was tricky but worth it. UICollectionView animations come for free and scroll performance is native-smooth No blank spaces and no FPS drops - all powered by the New Architecture Who wants to see the code?

While you debate if you should switch to native, I've implemented iOS Gallery zoom interaction, using React Native and Expo, and feels incredibly smooth. Recreating this was living in my head over 4 years without paying, now I think it's a good time to show what’s possible. It’s funny that we still have this React Native vs. native discussion from the early times of it. React Native doesn’t stop you from building a performant app, and going fully native doesn’t automatically give you performant apps either. You can build performant, delightful things with React Native.

A game written purely in TypeGPU? YES Konrad Reczko used almost all Software Mansion superpowers (TypeGPU, react-native-audio-api, Pulsar, react-native-gesture-handler, react-native-nano-icons) to create this smooth (120 fps!!!) game that works both on web and in React Native 🥹 Read more about it in Konrad's post and start playing 🎮

For a few weeks we've been building agents that are capable of understanding any app and then autonomously convert it to a React Native app. Powered by agent-device and react-native-best-practices skills from Callstack Engineers and some custom instructions DM if you're interested

Flighty is one of the best-designed native app's on iOS, so I rebuilt it with Expo. Everything on the Expo side is real native UI. This is the best time there's ever been to build app's with Expo.

Building a React Native app for Android from default template? Then chances are you're also shipping: 🔍 unused code 🐛 debug artifacts 📦 code that’s bigger than necessary In Episode 3 of React Native Optimization in Practice, Michał Pierzchała shows how to fix it with R8.

another one for the react native community. I just open sourced @rbayuokt/expo-adaptive-glass, adaptive glass UI for Expo / React Native one <GlassSurface> and every phone gets the best glass it can handle, from the newest iPhone to an old Android

Here’s how I handle keyboard avoidance in React Native 👇 The keyboard covering your inputs is one of the most annoying UX issues on mobile. In this video, I show how I use react-native-keyboard-controller with reanimated to smoothly avoid this problem (👨‍💻 source code below)

Inspired by Nitish Khagwal , powered by React Native, Expo, Software Mansion's Reanimated layout animations. Running on both iOS and Android. Shall I record a video tutorial about it?
