I've now posted the video on Youtube for better sharing and findability. ✨ My first Youtube video ✨

that's interesting, but what do you think of this?

📖 Migration package documentation:

Declan's handle: @DeclanWarn 👏

I plan on sharing this video on the react-beautiful-dnd repo soon too

you are so wonderfully poised and clear in your communication!

Aww, thanks! ☺️

i love watching your videos. it's clear you invest a lot of intentionality

very cool, thank you

what about mobile devices/touch screen devices? As I can see in the examples, I can just move using the "more" button. I can't drag the card.

Best to jump over to the repo and create an issue What device are you using?

You can use chrome inspect and toggle to mobile. You will check that you can't drag.

I think you are running into an emulation issue. Pdnd is working great on Chrome for iOS and Android 😊

OK now I see, you have to do a long press and it worked. But, in the chrome of the mobile device, If you change to Desktop site (desktop version), the drag doesn`t work. Using an android tab with chrome

Alex thanks for the work you have done over the years, let’s say I want to drag a name div freely to any position on a droppable div is this use case covered in pragmatic drag and drop? I am just asking if we have free flexible option to drag and drop anywhere.

Hey Alex, that looks intersting! I'm the author of @ThisWeekInReact, and my readers usually prefer text. Would it be possible to write a summary of this video in the GitHub issue instead, including mentioned possibilities and relevant links? That would be more convenient

Thank you for releasing this awesome version =).

@GabeRicard here's the Atlassian DND one @stacylondoner brought up

hello-pangea/dnd was an easy drop-in replacement for us with better Typescript support. An easy upgrade to avoid a refactor, but keep the same API.

Thanks for your work A tutorial I did for the original has been my all time top video and it was a lot of fun creating Looking forward to digging into the new package and doing a new one!!

Thanks Colby. I think your react-beautiful-dnd video is so good. Keen to know how you go with pdnd!

Cool!!
