An important discussion with representatives of the international business community. We discussed strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience and preparations for the next winter. On March 1, all our local authorities will present an energy development plan for the next winter. It is important to do as much as possible in preparation over the half year we have before the start of the next heating season. The role of the private sector in this is key, and we count on joint projects. Among the key issues were also broader opportunities for investment in Ukraine and the involvement of private business in reconstruction, including investments in the defense industry. Thank you to the representatives for supporting Ukraine throughout these years of full-scale Russian aggression. Even during the war, after such a winter, our country lives. We are open to partnership, to joint projects, to investments that will support our people and our security. Thank you to everyone who invests in Ukraine’s resilience.

We had a substantive discussion on all issues, and we much appreciate the progress achieved by American and Ukrainian teams in recent weeks. Special thanks to Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their engagement and full commitment, as well as to our team — first of all, to Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov. We discussed all the aspects of the peace framework and achieved significant results. We also discussed the sequence of further actions. We agreed that security guarantees are key on the path to achieving a lasting peace, and our teams will continue working on all aspects. We agreed that our teams would meet as early as next week to finalize all discussed matters. We also agreed with President Trump that he will host Ukrainian and European leaders in Washington, D.C., in January. Ukraine is ready for peace.

They have an impact on companies, in corporate, in the public sector, in the government and in start-ups... Our alumni have also created employment... In academia, our alumni have been leaders in research. Many of them have been serving as directors of IITs, IIMs, and NITs... For the first time, we have assessed the impact of alumni contributions to India and globally and started a report... In the years that they have been there, the alumni have been transformed, they have learnt and they have contributed and they continue to contribute. This document quantifies this and shows that all the investments that is made for the IITs have actually resulted in impact in the society in terms of jobs, in terms of money..." He also says, "We are going to move from being a single-campus institution to a multi-campus institution. We want to provide an education that is globally competitive, which makes people future-ready. We also want to see that our research makes an impact. We want to see ourselves catalysing the innovation and startup ecosystem in the Delhi NCR region. We are doing this with extensive consultation with all our stakeholders, students, faculty, industry, our alumni..."
