I miss when Metallica was still a thrash band. Not the polished version. The version that sounded like it wanted to take the building down with it. Fast, mean, and locked in like the whole point was impact. This clip still has some of that bite. Hetfield’s downpicking, Newsted hammering away, no extra fat on it. Just four guys playing like the song might escape if they let up for a second. They got bigger. They got cleaner. They also lost a little of that violence. Anyone else miss this version of the band more than the later one?

#EVAN about BOF festival and seeing so many evers show up for him 😭😭😭 🦌 even though it was a festival all the way in busan which is quite far away… so many evers came just to see me and watch my performance. i’m really not joking. i was honestly… really shocked. 🦌 and whether a lot of people came or not, you only really find out once you step onto the stage right? before that, i had seen some evers posting on social media saying, “why are there so many evers here?” and i remember thinking, “really? how many people could there possibly be?” 🦌 but when i actually got up on stage, there were so many evers holding up “EVAN” signs and cheering for me.and something else that really stayed with me was seeing photos on social media of people holding up my flag. 🦌 seeing everyone cheer for me with so much passion made me feel… like this was something that shouldn’t even be possible. evers made the impossible happen. so i’m really, really grateful.

#EastEnders I hope it's Will who brings down Bea - remember she manipulated him at McKlunky's after she smashed the place up and Will's loyalties to Bea haven't 100% been confirmed whilst Janet doesn't fully understand what's going on. Is this partly why Honey is being sucked in by Bea? To provide some routine and familiarity for Janet? The deluded in me wants to think Honey is playing Bea and she's just biding her time but I know deep down that Honey isn't clever enough for that. I mean Does Honey even know what AI is? Billy is so out of touch with technology at the best of times so what makes Honey think that Billy would be responsible for something like that?
