Reagan’s atheism joke👇

During the bleak Obama years, I would occasionally listen to an old speech of Reagan's to cheer myself up. He had an amazing knack of being funny and deadly serious at the same time.

This is very poor reasoning because it's very easy to just go into the kitchen and see the chef to prove his existence. There is zero fantasy, faith or anything supernatural involved. With "gods"...not so much.😂

If the gourmet dinner also contained broken glass, poison, live snakes, disease, parasites and innocent children who were slowly tortured to death then yeah, it might be a fair analogy to "God's world of so much beauty". And those atheists may have had a few words for the "cook".

Atheists don't believe in gods created by humans, including Jesus, "prophets" and deity definitions of all other religions. While there's so much we don't understand about the world, the core problem with the religious is that they claim false answers. Keep searching for "god."

Any rational person would know that someone prepared the meal. Faith would not be necessary.

The Athiest is irrational and unintelligent. They deny the reality around them. They are of weak mind and weak heart which is why they make easy prey for the devil

Call a religious person for dinner and when he asks who cooked this wonderful meal just tell him there is no cook, we just prayed and the food appeared in kitchen

I love Reagan's humor. And as an atheist, I think this joke is funny. It's a false equivalency, of course. But funny nonetheless. A better analogy would have been if someone believed in the plant a most delectable pineapple came from. The universe does not need a creator. Why I know that? Appendix is the easiest one. The fun part and the excretion part of a woman are right next to each other. More scientific: DNA, fossils, big bang, in short... science... Having said that... I have sympathy for Judaism and Christianity... No..., not for islam...

If nobody was exposed to religion until they were about 15 years old (and by then could think and rationalize things for themselves) I think that the world would be a very different place!
