For the facial animations in my game, I use a technique that yields results similar to L.A. Noire. To keep it simple: I first generate a facial animation video using AI like LTX 2. Then, I create a video depth map from that animation and project it onto a face mask. Using vertex displacement, the depth map dynamically deforms the face as the character speaks. The result looks good in standalone VR. I actually created this workflow long time ago:

This workflow is perfect for creating short fashion-style cinematic videos. I simplified the original prompts based on willie’s method, and the whole process is now much faster and more stable: 1. Generate a 3×3 keyframe grid (Nano Banana Pro only) Use this simple prompt: “In a 3x3 grid, show this character in different angles, keep the scene the same, random poses. This is far simpler and more efficient than my old prompts. You can generate multiple times and just pick the keyframes you like most. 2. Extract a high-res keyframe (Super stable trick) Take a screenshot of the keyframe you want from the 3×3 grid, send it back to Nano Banana Pro, and simply say: “Give me a high-resolution version.” This method is much more stable than relying on complex upscaling prompts. 3. Generate the video with Kling 2.5 Turbo Upload the first and last frames to Kling 2.5 Turbo and use this prompt: “The camera very slowly and smoothly lowers on a boom.” From my testing, Kling 2.5 Turbo offers the best balance of stability and cost — other models are either less consistent or noticeably more expensive. 4. Final speed adjustment with willie’s tool (Critical step) Use the tool built by willie to fine-tune the playback speed of each clip. This step is essential for getting that premium cinematic feel. I can now slowly make micro series about these Javanese Kebaya assassins 😎 I really love Kling 3.0 Multi-cam Kling AI All I did was use one base image (which is the very first frame of the video) and divide the prompt into six shots. That’s it!! Yes, you can use Nano Banana to generate multiple frames, but i'm too lazy to animate it one by one LMAO 😆😆😆 The one-frame approach has been my favorite way for the past few months. People always ask, “How do you storyboard your AI video?” No, I don’t hahahah 🤣 Trust me, my workflow is just chaotic. But again, it depends on what type of project you’re making. I personally just want to create very ultra-short videos. (I’m one of those AI slop bros who’s not interested in making long-format AI movies LMAO 😂😂😂 Because i just wanna do this for fun) So this approach of using only one source image works perfectly for me.
