Really hope this doesn't make it into 2K27. This is obviously offline against the AI, but the same thing happens online as well. You beat the defender clean but end up in a bump steal animation. All that happens is, the defender inadvertently knocks the ball loose at the... tail end of the contact animation. They aren't actually trying to steal it... it's just that any contact with the ball from the defender seems to end up triggering this. The idea makes sense, but it's obviously flawed in certain scenarios. This is why that patch that so many people praised was reversed. Sure you could probably get a steal in a situation like this in real life, but that's not what this is, so please don't present that disingenuous argument. #NBA2K26show more

Here's the all-22 view of this play. Yes, Johnson is open initially, but even from a clean pocket that ball is going to have to be in the air for a long time. I'm not buying that he's out-running Grant Delpit. Like being aggressive with the lead and like this play design, but not sure the juice was worth the squeeze in this situation

It was the first time that I've been in that battle this year with George and unfortunately my left tyre gave up quite early. But it's good, it was a good experience. Not too much lost ground wise and we'll see what changes we can make now so that it's better for tomorrow."

This is from today's #WCWS game. This was ruled a base hit when it happened (you can see the 'H' pop up), but was changed to a missed catch error by the first baseman at the bottom of the fourth. This is an impossible catch for the first baseman with a ball thrown from that angle, that hard. This throw has to be to the glove, and while it's not a wild throw, it's low enough that the first baseman cannot get her glove around it in time. This is where replay gets you in trouble. The slo-mo replay makes it look like it's a catchable ball, but it isn't. In real time, at live speed, this isn't an error. This isn't a missed catch or a drop. I was loving the call of a single, especially because it was the first hit, and then, when it was changed, it felt like it was to protect a no-hitter. Everything about this screams "above ordinary effort" ... I would have left this as a single.

it will be bad for Eben, and correctly so. reason is that he actually get his hands and fingers around the eye area of Alex Mann 4 different times. the clip below is not repeating footage , it is the sequence as it happened. you can see after the first eye contact , he follow it up with more hands at the eyes. so while he is maybe not "gouging" in the most hard core sense of it, there is clear intent to mess with Mann's eyes. yes people making the point that he was victim to the same thing at the previous ruck which is why he is doing this, but that is irelevant. Intentional contact with eyes ranges from 12 weeks (low end) to 18 weeks to 24 weeks (top end) very disappointing from him😢
