Its absolutely ridiculous that this was called a blindside block AND targeting. A bunch of dudes who never played football making rules and trying to enforce them. What's he supposed to do- set a basketball screen and get leveled himself??

Hated this call! If I’m a defender about to get lit up should I just look to the side to get a flag? Terrible officiating in a huge moment

Targeting is leading with the crown, but if they call a blind-side penalty, any shot to the persons head or neck area is targeting, which is what happened. The argument is how on earth could it could be blind, and to what degree do the penalties conflict with the games purpose?
