While some are trying to 'cancel' Rodgers, the Jets couldn't seem to care less. “Most of these awards are not necessarily what’s done on the football field... Aaron’s presence, I’ve said it a million times, he loves his teammates, his teammates love him,” said coach Robert Saleh. Very interesting comment from Jeff Hafley when speaking on the Up & Adams Kay Adams: Who is Malik throwing the ball to? Haf: “He’s gonna be throwing to some good players. We’ve got a lot of draft picks. We’ll have receivers for Malik to throw to. Next time we talk after the draft I think you’re gonna see we’ll get some good ones for him to throw to.” Did Haf just confirm Miami is drafting at least 1 WR and maybe multiple in the top 100?👀

Dohnte Meyers has gone from being a fun story to a player who has a chance to make a big contribution on offense and special teams. “He’s earned his way, that’s for sure,” said Zac Taylor. “He just continued to make plays over and over again. We weren’t dialing stuff up for him. That’s how you make it. When the opportunity comes your way, and the ball comes your way, you’ve got to make the most of it.”

The confusion about whether former Eagles OC, Kevin Patullo, was fired or not isn't that confusing. They never used the word fired. In short, they care about him, value what he has done for the organization, and are allowing him to weigh his options and decide if he wants to come back in a different role. Philadelphia, & their entire front office, are a class org. They value people, respect them, and treat them right. They also know what he has meant to their 2 Super Bowls runs, despite not working out at OC. The players who praised him all season and after the wild-card loss do so with sincerity. It is not lip service or professionalism. They genuinely respect him. Almost every player was asked about him after their loss, nobody wavered in their praise for him. Nick has explained what they are doing, and the players have expressed their role in the season's struggles. Below is from right after the game.

At my wits end with my cat. Starting to resent him. TL:DR - cat constantly cries, and absolutely NOTHING works. Starting to resent the cat and causing relationship issues. At a complete loss about options. I’m at my complete wits end with my cat!!! He constantly cries. Non. Stop. We can’t take it anymore. He’s always cried a lot since he was a kitten, and he’s now 3 years old and nothing has changed. We have taken him to the vet multiple times and they can find nothing wrong with him. He’s an indoor only cat, and recently he started going outside to explore our apartment garden. He ended up running out the door one day, and since he didn’t stray far, we were giving him an hour outside each day to help burn off some energy. Now he wants to be outside constantly and will cry for literally hours when we bring him inside. He’s not one for cat toys, has never been interested in them. We have tried every single enriching activity and he does it once and never again. When we play with him (chasey or hide and seek) he’s bored after 5 mins. We tried Zylkene. We tried Feliway. Neither worked. We even trialled getting him a companion and that ended up terribly. We work from home 4 days a week and are around on the weekends. We are starting to resent him and it’s causing issues between me and my partner as we’re constantly stressed about him. We can’t give him up as pounds are full and he’ll be euthanised and none of our family members (with houses and yards) want to take him either as they don’t like him/hear horror stories from us. Notes from today’s #Bengals practice: - Overall, another winning day for the defense, but not as conclusive as recent practices - Cashius Howell popped in a big way on a couple rushes off the edge against Orlando Brown using both speed and power. Also blew by Andrew Coker for a would-be sack. Probably his best practice to date. The fact Zac Taylor referenced him having the same tenacity as Erick All tells you what you need to know about he’s viewed. - Vet day for Chase meant extra passes for Tee Higgins. Hit some, but still off at times, working to get their connection down (nobody should be worried about this). - Ugly drop by Andrei Iosivas to close practice on a crosser. A lot to like about where Iosivas is at, but he just has to eliminate those moments from his game or he’ll be watching Colbie Young before long. - Offense had been very good operationally this camp, but a delay of game and false start showed up today. -Dax Hill still limited, DJ Ivey and DJ Turner both with PBUs. 📽️ Jalen Davis with a nice play on third down with a PBU -Colbie Young had a drop, but also the recipient of one of Burrow’s best balls of the day running a seam between Knight at Battle.

49ers training camp practice #2 is in the books. Here are some of the highlights: 🏈De'Zhaun Stribling is getting OPEN — catch-and-run house call from Mac Jones with those long 4.36 strides... The rookie also created separation down the seam on a ball Purdy overshot. Stribling caught a nice one from Purdy on an early rollout 🏈New CB Jack Jones has looked spry, but Ricky Pearsall cooked him on a double move — Jones misfired but that was some "wow" separation. Purdy later hit Pearsall for what might've been a catch-and-run TD 🏈Excellent Renardo Green leaping PBU 🏈CMC has a lot of juice to begin this camp. Jordan James got most of the work behind him early in this practice, but the back half featured more of rookie Kaelon Black. He had a muscle-on-muscle collision with Marques Sigle early 🏈Ji'Ayir Brown notched an acrobatic diving INT off a shorter pass from Purdy, who bounced back immediately with a chunk gainer to Mike Evans. Even with Christian Kirk (calf strain) sideline, the 49ers' WR corps already looks worlds ahead of last season's 🏈Vet CB Eli Apple, entering Year 11, notched a pick 6 off Kurtis Rourke on a pass intended for Junior Bergen.
