Jamming through Gary Moore’s Marshall JCM 2000 which was his main live head from 1997 - 2008. Along with the prototype DSL I posted about previously these were his two main amps during that period but this one was used a lot more live. This is the amp he used for the Fender 50th Anniversary performance and many more including the Thin Lizzy / Phil Lynott Reunion in 2006. The last appearance was the most recent live album release from Beloise in 2008. I’m using one of Gary’s Les Paul’s that he had fitted with Bare Knuckle PG Blues pickups. This is my first time playing this guitar but I’m already in love 😍 cheers! #garymoore #marshall #thinlizzy

Olorien is a quirky character. She is feisty, independent, and, unlike her peers, completely uninterested in nannying the little babies. She prefers to do her own thing. Olorien is also a quirky eater. Head Keeper Benjamin has noticed that she always scoops her food with her trunk, rather than ‘picking’ it, as most African elephants do. This morning, after playing with her breakfast for a bit and some thorough quality control, she showed off her unique technique. We rescued Olorien in 2020. At our Ithumba Reintegration Unit, she is slowly building her independence and learning the ways of the wild. When she is ready, she will reclaim her place among Tsavo’s wild elephant population. Meet the orphans in our care and find out how you can support them through an adoption:
